Very cool image! Great pose and details! I know someone who raced a Shelby Cobra in the early 70's. l/f

Liesl, if you went to any race meeting you would have seen those strange looking brackets on the front instead of the usual bumper strips (fender in US). I found out these were not road legal but would only be used for a quick lift jack, to hook under the front when in the pits. Thank you so much Liesl for your comments, support and interest!

Stunning work David! Didn't someone drive a Cobra at crazy speeds on the M1 leading to the 70mph speed limit on British motorways? Anyway, a wonderful work of art!

Thank you very much indeed Rod for your comments! I am fairly sure it was the E-type Jaguar back in the 60's that could reach 150 mph and they used the M1 to try it out very early in the morning! :)

They don't build them like that any more! love the streaks of browns..gives a real feeling of speed. Cars are not easy things to draw! you have done a beautiful job..love the reflective shine at the back of the front wheel arch..stunner! :)
