Well, as a kid growing up in the 1960's there wasn't anything bigger on earth, then The Batman television series, which came on twice a week. What better could you ask for. That said, personally I had issues with the show. I loved the colors, the words popping up on the screen like sound effects showcased on the printed comic book. I loved the casting, the villains, and most importantly to me, I simply love the costumes. The colors. Come on, it was like a comic book had come to life. That said, I actually wasn't a huge fan of Batman's costume, only because it wasn't exactly like it was in the comics at the Time, Neal Adams has revolutionized The Batman, and I wanted to see that costume on screen
But my real issue with the show, had to do with the campiness, I wanted it to be serious not funny.
