I fell in love with this photo the day that Jan posted it. The cards are beautiful, frame able for a small space. I like that they have plenty of room for writing or doodling inside.

The work of the French poet Arthur Rimbaud (1854-1891) exerted an enormous influence on the Surrealist writers and visual artists who would follow him fifty years later.
Like Charles Baudelaire and the Comte de Lautreamont before him, Rimbaud redefined poetry in two ways: the dreamlike, sometimes violent juxtaposition of unrelated images, and their incorporation into the prose poem, a form pioneered by John Milton and William Blake.
The prose-poem collage inspired the Surrealists to bring to light dreams and desires previously repressed, but liberated in the wake of the First World War. "After the Flood" was inspired by one of Rimbaud's prose poems, "After the Deluge," from ILLUMINATIONS, his last collection of poetry.
