Description
AFTERTASTE is one of many pieces I created onto repurposed wooden drawers. The expression I tried to capture here is that of a surprisingly great feeling, after having experienced a passionate, intimate moment. The series is a collection of free flowing inspiration, derived from my interests in Love, Passion and Unity.
Every panel on each drawer unit (10 panels each) is painted on, to be used as part of an installation project/art storage. The rest of the panel paintings will be added to my site for purchase as prints. The originals are being sold by entire constructed piece (drawer/storage unit), as they were designed to complement each other. Please contact me with any inquiries regarding this project.
The bold, contrasting underlay is a technique I enjoy using, adding layers and blending until I reach a desired finish.
*All Original pieces are protected with multiple layers of various finishes, depending on the medium I employ.
*I ship ALL originals hand signed and ready to hang.

This one is interesting to me as it seems to express both pleasure and sadness. like

Hi Carol; I wasn't sure if my reply to this posted sooner & apparently not . Sorry it took awhile to realize it hadn't. Thanks for the insight of your perception. Sometimes I see those sad eyes while creating, although not intended. In this case, joyful tears perhaps :) Thanks always for visiting & commenting!
