They sent us the wrong one and have not corrected it yet. Would love to send the review if we get the correct poster we ordered

Hi Thought I had written you that the print was marred on arrival....Looks like the tube was damaged and affected the print (see photos below) Would LOVE to give this a great review as I love you guys...but still need an undamaged print. I went head and gave as the birthday gift with the promise of the unscathed one...said it would be coming. (I had asked for a replacement but haven't heard back.) Didn't get a photo of the full poster, but the damaged parts are all along the same line...which prompted me to check the tube...

Artist's Description

The Fokker E.V / D.VIII was the last fighter airplane put into service by Germany during WWI. The airplane was an advanced design and featured a single parasol wing. There were some wing failures with some of the early E.V models which caused the unfortunate deaths of several pilots. The failures were traced to faulty workmanship by a subcontractor; the wing design was sound. The problems were corrected and the type was updated as the D.VIII. By this time the war only had 18 days left so the type saw limited combat. If the war had dragged on many believe the D.VIII would have been the finest airplane of the war up to that time. Our print features the airplane in the markings of Lt Richard Wenzl during his time as commander of Jasta 6.

About Mark Karvon

Prints of all artworks are available at www.markkarvon.com. All artworks are copyright Mark Karvon. As a kid in the suburbs of Chicago, I always was interested in the mechanical creations of man. There is something about a purpose of design and the engineering solution to achieve that purpose that always created a spark in my mind. The forms those machines took were captivating to me - the pointed nose of a fighter jet; the exposed driving wheels of a mighty steam engine, the streamlined shape of a submarine. And the stories of the incredible experiences of the men who operated those machines are the stuff of legends and sometimes nightmares. From an early age I tried to express my fascination through drawing. I suppose my first...
