This is in honor of tripods (and other camera equipment) that get used and abused on a regular basis with very little complaint. Our hats off to us!
For instance, we tripods work hard without being particularly given credit for this hard work. I'm so old, been carted through multiple airports, across beaches and had my poor feet jammed into the sand and salt water, across rocks, banged up. Do I get a regular bath to get rid of salt, sand, rock particles? Nope. And I'm heavy because I'm aluminum, not the "new" fancy-schmancy carbon fiber, so I do get a little cranky. My joints get tired and ache. I even have a pan tilt head instead of the ball kind. People sometimes point and laugh. Do I get retired? No, cause she loves me, because together we've had so much time together and had so many good experiences together. So finally she's giving me the time and TLC I deserve.
Already had the shower, massage, mani-ped, head rub, gasket check, lube, etc.
