Description
This is a vintage 1950s era comic book cover, completely restored by me. It depicts a young woman, perhaps a stewardess, saying goodbye to her boyfriend, as another woman looks on with concern. A love triangle or triangulation theme was common with 'romance' comic books of this era. Someone was always upset, crying, spying from afar, shocked etc. in a triangle of one man and two women, or two men and one woman. Someone was always going to end up hurt, it seemed. Very enticing to the reader! There was a lot of restoration that I had to do...completely adding the color and ink lines, smoothing things. Since comic books were made with cheap non-archival paper and inks, many did not survive being stored haphazardly. Basically comic books of this era were sort of quick entertainment, and not meant to be cherished or kept carefully. This is All For Love 4 (McKenzie restoration)
