Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

At the end of June 2009 my dearest friend "Elena Malec":http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/elena-malec.html, uploaded a poem she wrote in 1997, which touched my spirit profoundly.
I read it, and immediately visualized a painting based on the deep message of it.
Shortly after, Elena honored me with the request of doing a painting based on her poem.
I felt very flattered and immeasurable happy. I knew that the idea of how I will do this is already in my mind.
Now, I felt the time was here to finalize this project and I created this for Elena!
