Take-off flight of the American Woodcock.

The American Woodcock a game bird, it is a ground bird, it never perch like the Ruffed Grouse. This woodcock took-off from the forest ground vegetation.

And before it was found and pointed by my friend's pointing dog, then to where the dog was pointing his nose I start to walk and the woodcock took his flight, my goal was to take it in photo in-flight.
