Sometimes in the summer I like to grab my kayak and car and set off to explore at daybreak. Parker pond is a favorite "kayak haunt" of mine. A large pond... I would call it a lake... its shore front spans the towns of Mount Vernon, Fayette, Chesterville and Vienna in Kennebec County, Maine. In some places boulders break the surface in unexpected spots, something for boaters to be wary of. In places it is over sixty feet deep. To float between the islands can be a beautiful days beginning. Photograph "Among The Islands" was edited with watercolor process and texture to give it an artistic feel. I hope you enjoy it!

I am an artist and photographer obsessed by creativity. My artwork has primarily been in pencil, colored pencil,oil,acrylic and watercolor painting. I love to capture the beauty around me with photography. At two I was drawing, in high school I was able to major in an art concentration of study, and later graduated from college with a B.A. in Fine Art. I love the countryside, the woods and nature.
