Traditional cycladitic architecture in Amorgos, Greece. Sugar houses with flowers, whitewashed walls and paved paths create a fantastic fairyland to walk around and admire beauty in simplicity.
Amorgos is an island full of alleyways, rocky seashores and stunning sunsets. This is where the French film maker, Luc Besson, filmed scenes of “The Big Blue”. The architecture here is very rich and diverse, a mixture of Minoan, Christian, Byzantine, Venetian, Neoclassical and typical Cycladic architecture (little round-roofed white houses with blue windows and doors).
