I really love this picture and have ordered it for a few friends also. When I received my picture I hung it on a nail from some previous groupings. When I sat down to observe my work I was so surprised to see the face of Jesus exactly mirrored in my sun dial mirror from the place where I always sit. I wish I had a way of sending you the picture I have of this. It is so awesome! I hope it worked.

Plein-air painting created on location in a cottage I rented during a painting event. I had been reading a book about Claude Monet, noticed the light around me; then simply put the book down and began to paint the scene.
About L Diane Johnson
Johnson is known for her landscape paintings created on location from the U.S. to Europe. Beginning her career as a classic portraitist, she turned to the landscape to capture the essence, character and purity of whatever she painted. With hundreds of awards and corporate collections behind her, Johnson also has the distinction of being the Founding Editor of PleinAir Magazine. Her forte is painting private gardens and architecture for clients.
