The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Discovering and capturing an excellent composition - getting it right aesthetically, as well as technically - is a wonderful reward for any photographer. With photographs made in the slot canyons, there's the added reward of working with the transparency: tweaking the composition, the colors; the subtle tones and hues that emerge, as if by magic.

Joe Hoover records with his photographs a slice of his world, capturing a "moment in time;" sharing his visions and experiences. He employs a mathematical sense of composition and lighting to capture breathtaking landscapes and canyons. His unique composition and documentary style reflect his combat cameraman's training to, "tell the story." The beautiful, the bizarre, and the extraordinary become captivating black-and-white, hand-painted, and color photographs. Viewers are sometimes awestruck, on occasion mystified, and often provoked to laughter. Cloud Mountain by Joe Hoover Joe Hoover started his career as a combat...
