Only a virtuoso artist can create this kind of 3-dimentional look on a 2-D surface. Much kudos to you, Mr. Mick. This kind of work is worthy of being featured in fine publications. I can easily see it on the front cover of a magazine. I hope you have been published quite extensively.

Wonderful foreground interest with the leaves on the bridge and great lead in lines from this low angle

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Gill! I had to wait for the folks to move away, but I think it was worth it :)

Great capture and point of view! v/f

Mick Anderson replied:

Benanne, I need to do these low angles more often! Thank you for that great comment :)

Delightful capture, Mick !! L/F

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you, Helena! There is a lot of character in this bridge :))

Love the way this leads one in to the bridge.

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Christopher! This was one of many experiments I made that day :))

A very creative and well executed way to capture a covered bridge! L&F

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Alan! I experimented with many angles, for sure :)

Excellent! Love the perspective.

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Thomas! With a tilting screen I don't have to get as low as the camera -- great for keeping my clothes clean!! :)

Love your perspective, Mick! And the lines of the bridge sides draw the eye so invitingly into the distance! Well done! L

Mick Anderson replied:

I always appreciate your insightful comments, Sandi! Thanks :)))

Yes, I can see that. :)

Mick Anderson replied:

... and I love the tilting screen, too!!

Gorgeous perspective, Mick!

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Heidi! In this shot f22 is my friend :))

Terrific perspective and composition! Great work, Mick! V.

Mick Anderson replied:

Marco, thank you for visiting today! I am honored :))

Absolutely love the perspective here Mick! These covered bridges are simply awesome, too bad there arent many around me!f/v

Mick Anderson replied:

Yeah, you just need to travel south to see some in Washington and Oregon :))

Wonderful perspective, composition, and color, dear Mick!!!! ; )))fv

Mick Anderson replied:

Thanks Laurie!! I have been sitting on this one since last November :))

Great perspective! Well done!

Mick Anderson replied:

Kirt, I appreciate your nice comment :))

Exactly what I expected! Fast shipping! All around perfect experience!

Very disappointed with the fabric. The colors are much more muted than they appear on line. I was hoping for a crisp colorful piece on a white background.

I like most of the products from Fine Art America. However, I think this product should be called a "sheet" rather than a Tapestry because I think of a tapestry as being woven and having some weight to it. The image is ok but somewhat blurred. This product might come in handy for tv production backgrounds with alternate images especially if the image is carried to the utmost edges.

Very nice and elegant, purchased it for my restaurant, got a lot of positive comments

I iam impressed with the art still, but with the product, not so much. The main problem with it is that it is printed from a picture with very low resolution, meaning that it can be viewed and enjoyed from rather afar. Even JPG artefacts are seen on it. Please print one in full resolution and send it to me, because this way you are not doing any good for your shop or for the benefit of the art creator.

The tapestry was better than I was expecting. Yea, the fabric is thin, but it had a nice soft hand feel to it giving it a nice drape. I put the tapestey up next to my side of the master bedroom. The colors were vibrant, and the size was perfect as an oversized piece option. The print was a little hazy, but for the size and texture it was being printed on, I was expecting some haze. I would definitely order again from this site as well as SpaceFrog Designs!

Artist's Description

In autumn, the historic Antelope Creek Bridge in Eagle Point, Oregon, is well worth the short drive off Highway 62.

About Mick Anderson

While in college, Mick had the opportunity to work at St. Mary Lodge at the east entrance to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was in this magical place where he met several fellow students from other parts of the country who would change the direction of his life by introducing Mick to nature, the mountains, the guitar and singing, fly fishing, writing music, hiking, and -- most importantly -- the Single Lens Reflex camera! He had a chance to play with Pentacon, Yashica, Pentax, Nikon and other brands, leading cameras of the day. It opened up a whole new way of looking at the world, and started a hobby that quickly grew into a passion that has stood the test of many years. His first “real” camera was a Yashica “Electro-35”...
