A series of still lifes, images of vases from antiquity, altered and reduced to black and white, altered with a focus of color circles. I am amazed by the craftsmanship of glassware from antiquity - the delicacy, the shapes the detail. My alteration of the work is a contemporary creation of contrast for such delicate works, it is an abstract composition at the root of it.

Kathleen Grace is an artist and art photographer in a variety of media, and has exhibited in galleries and exhibitions in California, New Mexico, North Carolina, Washington and Oregon.
