Great item. I love the color and photo composition. Unfortunately, the XL that I ordered is really more of a L size. I would have been better off with a XXL (which I am not... physical size is XL).

I wonder how many times this old tool has been sharpened? The tip has been worn down considerably, and the edges are quite sharp. It has such a wonderful patina on it that I wonder what happened to it, there is a lot of surface rust on it.
It is one of those found tools that piques my curiosity, and I am curious to learn more about the history of this particular tool, but in reality that will never happen because those stories are lost to the past.
We often take old antique tools for granted, we don't think much of them, particularly those that were handed down through the generations. Sometimes we forget that they have a history, and while they are simple tools, there can be so much more to them if we take the time to listen learn if the opportunity presents itself.
