"Approaching the Four-Way Stop", is an original watercolor, 30" X 11" on 300-pound Kilimanjaro cold-press paper, using American Journey and Davinci paints. The painting explores the often overlooked nature of American small towns and country crossroads.
Virgil Carter, BWS, PWS, PWCS, TWS, is a watercolor painter, teacher, demonstrator, workshop leader, author and Internet commentator. He paints primarily in watercolor, both en plein aire and from his studio in Boerne, TX. Primarily a representational painter, Virgil paints a variety of subjects, but enjoys most painting landscapes and town/urban subjects.
