Got a print on wood and it’s just gorgeous. The areas that would be white show as transparent to the wood. Colors are bright, and the surface has a nice satin sheen, almost matte, that works well with the wood. Very happy!

Artist's Description
Blue tones dominate the scene in this textured acrylic abstract painting, Ascension In Blue, with abstract forms that appear to be swirling in a dusty, textured environment. Flecks of indigo blue provide contrast against the misty light blue background, suggesting a subtle motion or energy. After the texture dried, the paint brought out the lower fossilized mountain scape. On the same diagonal as the mountain, in the top left center of the texture I saw a trumpet or horn like it was coming down from heaven like God calling those below to rise or to follow the heavenly music in this etherial motif, hence the title, "Ascension." In rich darker blues on the bottom showing fossilized mountainous terrain, and soft blues layered in the center that create an etherial feeling, all accented in textured indigo blue, and soft white light.

Always a nature lover, she looks for beauty in the world around us, be it in the mountains, forest, desert, beach, or city, with a vast variety of subjects.
