I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

This piece was done of a business associate as he was sailing in the waters off the Southern Coast of Florida. The action of the pieced and the speed of the vessel is reinforced by sharp angles, a sloping horizon and the angular treatment of a weathering sky in the background.
