Beloved – Florida Sunset by HH Photography of Florida.

A seaside view of the Gulf of Mexico and a setting sun with a sky full of colorful gray and white cumulus clouds. Slow rolling waves are creating a beautiful surf full of foam and texture. Seashells and some sea grass are strewn along the shoreline on this glorious summer evening.

As I stand on the shore, gazing out over the wide expanse of ocean before me, my thoughts drift to days gone by, of oppor- tunities taken and opportunities missed, love found and lost and found again. It's so easy to lose oneself in quiet reverie when the ocean laps at your toes, when the sun casts it's soft glow on your face and the solitude enfolds you like a warm blanket on a cold Winter's day. The ocean ... my friend, my companion, my ever changing and never changing beloved.
