Love the head gear...When they are older and more trained...they will wear a yoke to keep them together. Yokes can vary by region.

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

Best in class by Karen Cook -so how cute are these two oxen? An ox is usually a castrated male cow and is used in farming for heavy pulling. Oxen were first introduced to Nova Scotia in the early 1600s and are still used today. The oxen are usually worked in a team and are trained to be on a specific side of the team. An unusual and somewhat endearing fact is that most oxen here in Nova Scotia are always called by the same names! Lion and Bright.. Bright is always on the right side..and Lion is always the ox on the left. These two were the youngest oxen at the Annapolis Valley Exhibition in Lawrencetown Nova Scotia this year and were best in class. I think they were definitely the cutest in class!
