Description
This painting was inspired by the last sentence of Abraham Lincoln's First Inaugural Address:
"The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature."

Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
Hi, Helene! Long time. Just rushing through. I like what you are doing -- as I most always have: a bit braver in all: shapes, lines, colors and their interations (or not!)! The lavender is absolutely gorgeous here (a very verticle compostition!) and lavender and blue, you know always are my left brain's undoing. Check the bottom crop, Helene. Peace, etc., Bruce
Helene Henderson replied:
Oops, I missed that corner crop. Well, this isn't for sale, anyway. I'm glad you like this.
