The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Just south of Bedford, PA, tucked at the foot of the foothills of the Laurel Highlands of the Alleghenies is a bright red barn ... typical of the neat and tidy farms of the area. The January day is currently free from falling snow, though it had been a fluffy weekend and the fields and trees are covered. We know more of the white stuff is on its way, but until then the bright white of the sunny morning only seems to accentuate what color there is in the landscape.
This image was digitally hand-painted in Corel Painter with Wacom tablet and many of the beautiful Bob Ross style brushes. Based loosely on one of my own photos taken in January...

Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally.
