Oh my. One of the most inviting places I have ever painted. I was teaching/painting and found that when I looked up enterin Monet's main garden, spotted the neighbor's home beyond the wall. Most people visit to look down at the flowers and trail left/created by Monet. There are walls between most residential homes in France. This view was of the home to the right of Monet's house. You can see the whisp of a stone wall between homes. All of the foliage, flowers and trees are inside of Monet's confines, but the stone wall and home beyond are in view. I was in awe of the beauty here!
