Description
An exotic resort in a remote area of the jungles of Thailand. The resort was empty in the rainy season and the bird scared hell out of me when he suddenly moved right beside me. :) Painted version.

Hello Steve! you are so well travelled and I have enjoyed viewing your beautiful work! Thank you for sharing! This reminds me somewhat of Bali and what a beautiful place the world still is if only we dare to dream and be there physically to see and feel the beauty! f/v

Thanks a lot, Sharon and Linda! This was one wild trip my buddy Doug and I were on! This resort is very near the Burma border and was an area where caution and mild insanity were assets. Ah, the tales I could tell... :)

Steve, after reading your Bio I had to check out some of your out of country photos, I've got to say it is a treasure trove. This is only one that I loved... your story is hilarious.... no you don't need church, you have no hell left in you... unless of course you've raised some since... v/f

Congratulations on your sale, Steve!! What an unusual and very colorful image! kk
Steve Harrington replied:
Thanks very much, kk! It was a wonderful and rather crazy experience. The resort is in a remote and at the time rather troubled area north of Mae Sot on the Burma border. It is a place few travelers visited.
