Description
Dawn sketched this design in her journal after spending a weekend on the river, in the marshes, and along the lakeshores of her home valley in Wyoming. All the many, many birds she saw came together in this semi=abstract design. A celebration of birds! These are just some of the many species she saw, including violet-green swallow, nighthawk, bald eagle, great blue heron, yellow-breasted chat, marsh wren, Canada geese with dozens of goslings, red-winged blackbird, yellow-headed blackbird, osprey, avocet, and white-faced ibis.
