I am disappointed with this item. It is this beautiful blue shell mounted on an 1/4 inch thick piece of wood. I have no idea what to do with it.

Bisset Park is an impasto oil painting of a particular spot on the New River at Bisset Park. I have walked by this spot many times over the years. I like the way the branches of this submerged tree make a network of complicated textures and colors reflected in the water. The paint on this piece was applied in many layers and the surface is varied according to the visible brushwork which adds expression and energy to the scene.
