The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Dicentra, better known as the bleeding heart, comes from the kentron (spur) and the Greek dis (twice), which stands for the two hooks on each bloom. The bleeding heart stands for sympathy, especially toward liberal causes. This flower is a perennial herbaceous plant, belonging to the fumitory family, and there are 8 different species of dicentra. This flower is native to North America and eastern Asia, and it is also the official funeral flower of Tibet. This flower is also known as lady's eardrops, the heart of Jesus, the heart of Mary, lady in a boat (or bath), lady's locket and lyre flower. Lamprocapnos spectabilis, formerly known as dicentra spectabilis, is most striking and is native to China, Japan, Siberia, Korea and eastern Asia. Spectablis means spectacular and was introduced to England in 1816.
