I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

------ In the Wetlands of Louisiana ------ In 2008 I started taking fotos from a 12’ kayak with a digital camera, then processing them in PhotoShop with minimal editing. Every day that the weather is mild and I don’t have to be at work, I go out on a bayou or into a marsh or swamp. It’s a great pleasure to slowly paddle a small craft on the calm waters of these Louisiana wetlands. Great Blue Herons blare their call and shy dark gators hide all but their heads. They say every place is either sacred or desecrated. Where it’s healthy the wetlands teem with life: in the trees, on the banks and in the water. Where it’s deeply burdened with ignorance, plunder, and neglect, it is still and fetid. If they do anything at all, I hope...
