Description
I met this bobcat on a recent visit to the local wildlife hospital and rescue center. Most of the animals there were being rehabilitated after injuries or being raised as orphans. The four adult bobcats were healthy enough to return to the wild, but they had been "humanized" - meaning they associate humans with food and shelter. Instead of being set free, the two pairs stay as foster parents to any orphaned or injured baby bobcats to minimize human contact.
I am offering limited edition prints and donating a portion of my profit to The Wildlife Center of New Mexico where this cat lives.

Wonderful details. Your rendering of the fur is amazing. Saw this in the Animals with Personality contest and had to click on it to comment. Voted too.

Your drawings are really elegant and especially am"drawn" to this one. I, too, love drawing and work to perfect them all the time. Good Luck!

Amazing drawing! My wife showed my this one and it just about took my breath away! I saw a bobcat once on my grandpa's ranch in the Mojave desert, and I am in awe of how much this drawing sparks that memory so clearly over 30 years ago! I have never seen one since, that is until I saw this one today. Great work Heather, You are one of the best! Steven
