This scene of the flatirons just south of Boulder, Colorado was used for the 2009 Bolder Boulder 10K Race poster. I have been privileged and honored to have had the opportunity to create seven Bolder Boulder posters over the years. If you were to explore the purple niche in the distance, right between the front range of blue mountains, you would find the tiny hamlet of Eldorado Springs which features a century old swimming pool as well as a State Park where you can go on a classic Colorado hike.

Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist, and now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings.
