Butler's Wharf area London is named after a large warehouse called Butler's Wharf. Built between 1865-73 as a shipping wharf and warehouse complex, it was originally a chocolate biscuit factory. At one point the building contained the largest tea warehouse in the world. Following redevelopment, the whole area consists of luxury apartments with views over the River Thames. Here we see a view of the general area, with the original building prominent and a walkway down to boats moored at the dock.
