Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

I wanted a photo that showed what a beast these things are, and this one really shows it.

I like vultures, and this photo really catches this one in flight.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

About Heidi Smith
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I have a long-standing interest in photography. I had my first camera since before my teens. I used a (Minolta) film camera up until about 8 years ago when my camera failed to function while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Although a little intimidated, I then ventured into the world of digital photography and I've never looked back. My passion is nature. I started out primarily photographing flowers, plants, and critters that I would find in my garden. I love gardening and the great outdoors. I am always planning my next adventure, and I'll always have my camera in hand. I'm already...

Heidi, very nice! Like Bill said, the "layering" of the different ridges from the wind turbines to the clouds is just fantastic! Nice job :) f/v
Heidi Smith replied:
Thank you, Mick! :)

No, I didn't mean "layered images" in that way, sorry. How can I put it, um, I meant different features or zones to look at (not sure that helps). It's like good photos of the "Smoky Mountains" with different gradations of light. I'll try to be more discerning. :)
Heidi Smith replied:
:) Oh, I absolutely understand what you mean now. I often hear of "layering" as merging multiple images. Thank you so much.
Bill Owen
Perfect layering of images, Heidi! :)
Heidi Smith replied:
Bill, this is one photographic image. Does it look layered? I thought it was a fantastic scene. :)
