Oops, Susan, the comment above was meant for another...and you will do no such thing!. Your flowers are delightful. Now stop that! And Thank you for your kind words. Gert

Now Susan, what you need to do is drive that truck painting over to our group "Truck Stop" where it belongs. You handled this very nicely. This truck has character and story. Bravo! Thanks for boosting my ego! Gert

Gertrude, This is simply beautiful. Puts my calla lilies to shame! I am burning the canvas after I finish this post.

About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Stunning artwork. The colors are very vibrant. I get compliments on this piece all the time. I was worried it wouldn’t be as pretty post purchase verses viewing online but this exceeded my expectations!

Where is this? It has not even shipped yet!

September 18th, 2018

Ad said it has a hanging wire, it doesn’t. Has a big chunk of wood glued to the back with a hanging bracket. Acrylic distorts the picture in my opinion.

This rating is for Fine Art America only. Not the artist. I received this print on acrylic. It shows to have a silver back ground, but it was green-ish in real life. That didn't work for me so I needed to send it back. It cost me $32 to have it shipped, but $96....yes, NINETY SIX dollars to have it sent back. Fine Arts could have had a pre-printed label from their corporate account (like Amazon does) for it to be shipped back and then that ($32) amount deducted from my refund. They did not. So, basically I paid $120 to get a product that did not match the print online. Therefore, I will NEVER shop at Fine Art America again AND will warn everyone I know to beware.

I have seen this in person many times. I thought it would be nice to have a picture of it. I am so glad I got this.

Artist's Description

For a Calla lover, the most elegant and stately, painted over an interesting background of broken color.

About Gertrude Palmer

Fine artist, designer & illustrator, Gertrude Palmer signs her paintings simply "Gert". As a young fashionista she received the In Vivo Design Award for a collection of ethnic ski wear, the first fabricated in natural materials. This launched her own junior boutique line under the label of In Vivo. However her yearning for immersion in fine art called to her. Introduced to stone lithography in High School at celebrated New Trier, North of Chicago, she continued studies under Lyle Matouche (master printer for Karl Tobey) found at Southern Oregon University where she produced political and feminist works from 1979 1983. Even Valentino ate Apples, Great American Playboy, Not So Mad Housewife, Ecalypso were all produced during this phase....
