Description
Camas Passages
What I liked about this particular flower was that you could see the passages of its life in this one single bloom from the new petals just emerging at the top and the petals near the bottom beginning to wither. This beautiful flowers grow wild in moist meadows in the Spring. Look closely and you'll see the beautiful iridescence of the petals' colors. The Camassia's common names are: camas, quamash, Indian hyacinth, camash, and wild hyacinth.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
