Even more beautiful in person....wow..... my uploaded photo shows a lot of reflection. I may need to get non reflective glass on my frame.

I was disappointed with my print. It is much darker than the web page would suggest, giving much of the feeling of a grey winter's day than the sunny one it appeared to show. I was just glad I hadn't ordered a framed copy. Having worked with students printing at an art school, I know that colour can be altered before printing digital copies, so was not happy to be told by Fine Art that nothing could be done. I have chosen to keep it, since no-one else supplies it and I love the scene, but won't be displaying it and would not make further purchases of prints online.

Artist's Description

This dress I found in my wifes antique chest and one thing led to another as Colleen went with me to Ferndale. I used it to make a photo gravure with 3 copper plates. My little sister has the only print I know of now done in 1971. Im think, since its such a good image Im going to paint it.
