My little boy loves his new quilt cover, it is large and it didn't seem clear to me that it would be a different size to usual English quilt covers. Also would have been handy to have been offered pillow cases at the same time as I was unaware that it didn't come with these.

The green backing of this design looks darker like an emerald green then what I got, so much lighter for the one I received.

The design is very blurry. The colors are bright but it’s not what I expected. Maybe in a small frame but not a king sized duvet. The corner ties for the duvet are cheap. You will need to sew on new ones after one use. The price tag was hefty and I feel bad about spending the amount I did on something not quality. I’d think twice a pug purchasing a duvet. The print quality will never be satisfactory unless it’s from LV or authentic. 1 out of 5 stars. Cool idea though

Love it-great representation of the associated artwork. Soft for polyester!

Artist's Description

Canberra B(I)8 Designed as the replacement for the Mosquito the B(I)8 was initially deployed in the battlefield interdiction role, fitted with 4x20mm cannon and underwing hard points for bombs, rockets and fuel tanks. Cameras were also employed for tactical battlefield recce sorties -great fun all round, low level stuff with no rules!! With a world-wide operational role the B(I)8s made training flights ranging north/south from Bodo (Norway) to New Sarum (Rhodesia) and east/west from Hong Kong to Goose Bay (Canada). By 1959/60 it was realised that the main nuclear strike force would have to go low-level to survive in penetrating Soviet airspace and the B(I)8 was modded to carry out nuclear LABS weapon delivery. Standing QRA guard in this mode during the height of the Cold War at bases in Germany until replaced by F4 Phantoms - the TSR2 having been disgracefully cancelled. This print is of a 59 Sqdn BI (8) en route to the weapons ranges in Libya in 1959.

About Pat Speirs

Have been interested in photography since just after WW2, when film became freely available again, using Kodak Autographic equipment. Graduated, in the 50's, to 35mm and was involved in photographic work during my 17 yrs as RAF aircrew - navigator. Now producing digital art prints with the major emphasis on classic warbird aviation.
