Providing a boat ramp on the Cane Creek. Entering Butler County from Carter County, Cane creek flows south through Butler county and into the Back River. Named for the cane plants growing on the banks. The plants reached a height of twenty-five feet or more. Pioneers used the long stems for fishing poles and the smaller ones for pipe stems.
