Description
This image was captured where the Yellowstone River winds through its canyon. In order to shoot straight down on the river, I tied myself to a tree and hung out over the cliff. This image is available in a variety of sizes and formats.
A larger scan of this image is also available from which one may order large prints.
The "original" referenced for sale is the first print made from this negative. It is matted in teal and framed in a metal frame that matches the rock walls of the canyon.

Kathy, we are headed to your beloved homeland in May to raft the Colorado for 10 days. I can't wait to gather some pictures in the canyon!

Kathy, Yellowstone is the place to be with one's camera. Beautiful Photograph!
Kathy McClure replied:
Thanks, Tim. But I have to admit that when I was looking at this canyon I couldn't help but think how much more beautiful is the Grand Canyon. But then I'm an Arizonan.

CONGRATULATIONS, Kathy!~You are this week's featured artist in the group, Old MASTERS--Photographers and Digital Arts. This is a personal fave of mine, with its subtle colors, perspective, and abstract feeling. v/f/
Kathy McClure replied:
I'm humbled, Lenore. Some folks also feel a bit of vertigo looking at this image.
