About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Average Rating (5 Stars):

This rating is for Fine Art America only. Not the artist. I received this print on acrylic. It shows to have a silver back ground, but it was green-ish in real life. That didn't work for me so I needed to send it back. It cost me $32 to have it shipped, but $96....yes, NINETY SIX dollars to have it sent back. Fine Arts could have had a pre-printed label from their corporate account (like Amazon does) for it to be shipped back and then that ($32) amount deducted from my refund. They did not. So, basically I paid $120 to get a product that did not match the print online. Therefore, I will NEVER shop at Fine Art America again AND will warn everyone I know to beware.

I have seen this in person many times. I thought it would be nice to have a picture of it. I am so glad I got this.

I lived in the area and saw Mt. Rainier often. I used to call it "my" mountain. Now, I have a photo of it to remind me of its beauty.

I had 3 painting on my order. I ordered oversized images on acrylic with metallic mountings and they look beautiful in our restaurant. Planning to order another set for our other location!

Artist's Description

This is a particular favorite of mine and a monster when it comes to technique. This drawing took over two hundred hours of finger numbing strokes. The sky alone was two-thirds the battle. You need to look close, every stroke in the sky is diagonal, even the shading in the clouds. It's all about the challenge. The Cape D'Or lighthouse: The first light, a square wooden tower, painted white, standing on a red wooden trestle, was built in 1922. This light was a typical small "pepper pot." The current keeper's bungalows were built in 1958/59, and the concrete lighthouse in 1965. Ernie Morris was the last keeper. The Cape D'Or lighthouse was automated and de-staffed in 1989. Today, one is the Lightkeeper's Kitchen and the other a Guesthouse. This is the only light station in Nova Scotia where you can stay in a keeper's house. Part of the Fundy Shore Ecotour. Cape D'Or was the last verified nesting site in Nova Scotia for the rare Peregrine Falcon. When attempts to re-establish the birds be...

About Brent Ander

Creation turns me on. From a blank surface to the finished work of art, it's the process that feeds my soul. To me, art is a lifestyle, a compulsion and a passion. With a formal education in the arts spanning over eight years and an apprenticeship lasting two, I found myself addicted to the learning process. Now after more than forty years of practice, I still consider myself a perpetual student of art. In my opinion, to stop learning would be tantamount to artistic stagnancy. . . so, the exploration continues. My WEB Sites : Ander Expressions Fine Art & Ander Photography.
