I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

The purpose of my work is to allow the subconscious to create. I simply begin and allow the work to unfold. Only when the work is done will it tell me its story. I feel a part of me transferred into the painting; an emotion or moment of knowledge. Not until I've lived with a painting for a time can I let it go. I'm a self-taught artist. Unlike most artists, I feel very strongly that I would never want to learn from another. I want my art to be completely authentic with no one else's hand or idea of right or wrong in application or color or composition influencing my work.
