Original Fine Art Photography by Donna Kennedy-Edited in Topaz Studio--
Cowboys rounding up about 300+ cattle from the higher elevations before the first snowfall. Photographed at Fish Lake in central Utah.
Fishlake lies within and is the namesake of the Fishlake National Forest. Fish Lake is six miles long and one mile wide. The largest natural mountain alpine lake in central Utah, Fish Lake sits at more than 8,800 feet of elevation, which makes for pleasant weather all summer long.
Considered by many to be the gem of Utah, it offers trophy fishing and bird watching. The mountains of the Fishlake are a source of water for many of the neighboring communities and agricultural valleys in the region. Elk, deer, black bear, cougar and moose can be found in the Forest, as well as wild turkey and mountain goats.
