A reworking of the Celtic Tree of Life Mandala, this piece was inspired by the Ogham, an ancient Irish and British form of writing consisting of parallel strokes on either side of or across a continuous line. If you look closely, you will see the ancient script peeking out from between the trees. A touch of the East rests at the mandala's centre - Anahata, the symbol of the heart chakra, symbolic of the true nature of trees; their roots digging deep into the earth, their branches reaching high into the heavens, embodying the essence of what it means to unite heaven and earth.
