The current chapel at the Palace of Versailles in France is the fifth. Built over a 20 year period (between 1689 and 1710), the architectural style is often referred to as Baroque though its lines are simpler than one might expect from that term. It is very high - this is a view of the second story, taken from the tribune royale where the royal family sat during services. The fresco at the far end of the ceiling is by Antoine Coypel and dates from 1708.
