While working on this piece, I felt like I really got to know the family that was staying in this cottage at Boulder's Chautauqua Park in Colorado. I probably looked like just another plant with my bright pink chair and paints as I focused intently on my project for two mornings. No one seemed to really notice me but as I painted, I certainly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this beautiful summer vacation spot.
