The Franklin Park Conservatory is a 'must-see' if you ever are in Columbus, Ohio. The gardens and Greenhouses are botanical wonderlands and made even more beautiful with additions of Chihuly Glass throughout the grounds and exhibits. Dale Chihuly's spectacular creations celebrating nature and innovations in glassblowing provide vibrancy and fluidity to any space. They are especially stunning when combined with natural greenery and earth's own beauty.
This was taken at a display called the Persian Window. It was first exhibited in 1986 as part of his exhibition at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, in the Lourvre in Paris. It is a celebration of form, scale and color. This is just a small section of the display, but I really love the color combination and how the light shines through and reflects around.
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
