Told ya I was going to vote for yours. Johnny

What an amazing portrait. The depth of his facial features can only be explained as 'fine lines' which tells his story without words. His composure is caught with the use of the light from the window down deep into his eyes. You can be very proud of this shot and as the facilitator of this contest I will hold my vote until the very last in case there needs to be a Tie Breaker when I will gladly give you my vote. Again, well done. Johnny

Dave Bowman replied:

What an amazing portrait of this eldery man! Love the black and white tones that really showcase the the story of years written on his face - I love the moment you captured with him looking out the window for it invokes the mood that he is wistfully remembering a memory from his past. L/F

We are extremely pleased! The artwork was exactly what we were looking for and the towel quality is superior. Great birthday gift for my son who couldn’t have been more excited upon opening the gift! This is my second time purchasing from you and I will continue to do so, as well as spread the word. Keep up the great work!!

Pen Sherwood's Amitors artwork goes anywhere with Diana Kisselburg's words! Many years ago, my uncle Thomas (Tom) Phillip Hufford asked me to come up with a word the opposite of predator. Amitor is that word. Ami: Fr. friend, Amigo: Sp. friend, Amity: Eng. harmony, Ami: Formosa, Taiwan. Giraffe: non predatory animal unless young attacked. Butterflies: live, love, laugh, hope. Survive, thrive and inspire others. Pen Sherwood offered to do this Amtor artwork for free sharing the copyright with me for my Amitor concept. Amitor Tom would be so proud. Diana Hays Kisselburg

About Dave Bowman

As a photographer I like to be on the move, physically and technically, trying out new approaches and discovering new paths. I believe artists should continually challenge themselves and experiment in order to progress creatively and to keep ideas fresh and vital. My primary aim is to capture the essential quality of the experience before me at the very moment the shutter closes. I then allow the subject to dictate the precise levels of tone or colour required for the final image. These decisions are key to my creative process and something I find continually challenging and inspiring. Dave Bowman Photography
