The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

The Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary was not very lively with the exception of various birds taking exception to the activities of their neighbors. We had a great time in any case walking the boardwalk. It had been dry with cool weather so when I return I hope to see more of the flora and fauna. This is a climbing aster according to one of the very informative signs along the boardwalk.

My subjects are both natural and architectural. I am interested in textures and shapes and how light and shadow play on those objects often creating new ones. I use a Nikon D-800, and an iPhone 10s Max. I make every effort to compose in the camera and thus I crop infrequently. I use Lightroom, Photoshop & NIK to work with highlights & shadows which often brings out the elements in a photograph for which I have primary interest. I have no hesitation using any other tool if the results make the photograph work. My preference is to do nothing to a photograph presenting it as it was taken.
