I was disappointed with my print. It is much darker than the web page would suggest, giving much of the feeling of a grey winter's day than the sunny one it appeared to show. I was just glad I hadn't ordered a framed copy. Having worked with students printing at an art school, I know that colour can be altered before printing digital copies, so was not happy to be told by Fine Art that nothing could be done. I have chosen to keep it, since no-one else supplies it and I love the scene, but won't be displaying it and would not make further purchases of prints online.

Clover Hollow in Giles County is an expressive look at a small section of this mountain farm. The brushwork is intense and the colors are cheerful. I have driven past this scene countless times and it always seems new to me. The mountains of Southwest Virginia, which includes The Blue Ridge Mountains are magical. The colors and textures change dramatically all day long. I especially have enjoyed this section of Giles County in the evening when it is easier to see cool colors in shadows. A Great patron in Ft. Lauderdale owns this paintings. The painting is in a solid wood auburn frame which beautifully offsets the piece. This is a low-level impasto painting and is colorful and peaceful.
