I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

One summer in San Miguel de Allende there was a solar eclipse. The town put 36"copper bowls
on the sidewalks all around the jardin. They were then filled with black coffee. When the eclipse happened , all you had to do was look into the coffee. A black mirror. The people of that town have
given me a a treasure of memories over the years. This painting represents one small one.
About Dale Witherow
I began painting seriously after retiring. I currently exhibit abstracts, but my roots are in landscape painting. I tend to float between the two. I work mainly in acrylics but often include other media. I have recently added digital components to my work. I believe that " everything" is a self portrait. I currently exhibit in Olympia,WA . @Dale Witherow 2016
